Code Lyoko è una serie televisiva animata francese, prodotta da Benoît e Christophe di Sabatino dal 2003 al 2007 e andata in onda sui canali France 3 e Canal J per un totale di quattro stagioni e un episodio prequel (diviso in due parti e trasmesso al termine della terza stagione). L'episodio prequel racconta la scoperta del mondo virtuale di Lyoko e della formazione del gruppo protagonista, temi non approfonditi nella prima serie. Code Lyoko è caratterizzato dall'utilizzo combinato dell'animazione tradizionale nella rappresentazione del mondo reale e dell'animazione al computer per le scene nel mondo virtuale.
Trama
Quattro adolescenti si ritrovano catapultati sul mondo virtuale di Lyoko, un regno gestito da un supercomputer. Insieme dovranno battersi contro il terribile programma multi-agente XANA per mantenere l'equilibrio del regno.
