Rachel all'inizio non sopporta Farmer, poi si lascia. Intanto il pazzo, quello che manda le lettere anonime a Rachel, prova un paio di volte ad andare a segno, ma Frank para i colpi. Il momento più pericoloso sembra quello della cerimonia degli Oscar: Rachel sarà sul palco, Frank sarà tra le quinte con l'auricolare all'orecchio. Anche il pazzo sarà nei paraggi.
