Si attendono, però, nuovi e più pesanti sviluppi e così a due guardie giurate viene affidato il compito di rastrellare i soldi delle banche della zona prima che diventino carta straccia. Le voci corrono: una banda di rapinatori vuole quei dannati tre milioni di dollari, a qualsiasi costo. L'acqua, intanto, sale e il furgone blindato s'incaglia.
