Da tempo è in corso una guerra senza esclusione di colpi tra i sofisticati e aristocratici vampiri e i brutali licantropi. Selene, guerriera vampira, scopre un complotto architettato dai nemici per rapire Michael, un giovane medico appartenente alla razza umana (che dovrà creare una nuova e invincibile razza di predatori dotata dei poteri di entrambe le specie, ma senza i loro punti deboli).
