Da tempo è in corso una guerra senza esclusione di colpi tra i sofisticati e aristocratici vampiri e i brutali licantropi. Selene, guerriera vampira, scopre un complotto architettato dai nemici per rapire Michael, un giovane medico appartenente alla razza umana (che dovrà creare una nuova e invincibile razza di predatori dotata dei poteri di entrambe le specie, ma senza i loro punti deboli). Dopo averlo seguito nei suoi spostamenti, Selene stringe con Michael un insolito legame e quando i licantropi cercano di portare a termine il loro piano, la vampira lo aiuta a respingere il feroce attacco.
