Un gruppo di intraprendenti cagnolini riesce a imbarcarsi a bordo del viaggio inaugurale di una compagnia che propone le prime crociere per turisti intorno alla Luna. La ditta, Vision Enterprises, intende mettere sul mercato viaggi spaziali per l'intera famiglia, compresi i cuccioli di casa; ma i quattrozampe, muniti di apposite tute e caschi, si intrufolano nella navicella non accompagnati, appena prima del lancio. Intrappolati nello spazio siderale, fanno la conoscenza di Yuri, un astronauta russo che viaggia con il suo cagnetto Spudnick. L'avventurosa squadra di cuccioli scopre però che la navicella è in grave pericolo e deve trovare il modo di rientrare sulla Terra il prima possibile...
