Trasferito in Inghilterra Koskov attraverso un gasdotto, 007 porta in salvo Kara utilizzanto come bob l'astuccio del suo violoncello. Di qui parte ben presto in volo per Tangeri, alla ricerca del generale Leonid Pushkin, che il disertore ha accusato come ideatore del piano 'Smiert Spionem', morte alle spie.
