Zohan è un agente del Mossad israeliano, eccezionalmente abile e addestrato, che decide di lasciare il suo lavoro per cambiare vita, fingendosi morto e trasferendosi a New York, dove sogna di diventare parrucchiere. Arrivato negli USA in cerca di un'integrazione, nasconde le proprie origini e riesce ad aver successo con metodi poco ortodossi ma estremamente efficaci nei confronti del pubblico femminile. Ma qualcuno per niente ben intenzionato scopre chi è e immagina, senza aver fatto bene i suoi conti, di potergli rompere le uova nel paniere.
