In un paese esotico diviso al suo interno, Delgo, un adolescente sognatore ma ingenuo, cerca di costituire un gruppo di amici amanti dell'avventura. Il suo intento è quello di salvare il mondo, minacciato dall'eterna lotta fra i Lockni, un popolo terrestre che sfrutta i misteri della terra, e i Nohrin, un popolo alato che regola i cieli. Questi vivono, segregati, in uno stato di pace traballante fino a che Delgo non viene incastrato per un crimine che non ha commesso. Ma un pericolo porterà i due popoli a unirsi per un obiettivo comune...
