Wendy Darling racconta ai due fratellini più piccoli le storie che hanno per protagonista Capitan Uncino, il mitico pirata che non ha paura di nulla. Il padre di Wendy, su consiglio della severa zia Millicent, ha però deciso che è tempo che Wendy lasci da parte le favole e cresca. Ma anche Peter Pan adora le storie che la fanciulla racconta e viene appositamente ad ascoltarle. Sarà proprio lui a chiedere a Wendy e ai fratelli di seguirlo sull'Isola che non c'è anche se ciò scatena la gelosia di Campanellino.
