Never-Ending Man: Hayao Miyazaki è un documentario-intervista diretto da Kaku Arakawa incentrato su Hayao Miyazaki dopo l'annuncio del suo ritiro nel settembre 2013.
TramaNel settembre del 2013, Hayao Miyazaki annunciò improvvisamente il suo ritiro dal mondo del cinema. Nonostante questa decisione, non poté trattenere il suo inarrestabile desiderio per la creazione, decidendo di esplorare nuove forme espressive e nuove tecnologie. Fu così che un regista della TV giapponese NHK decise di documentare il riavvicinamento del maestro al mondo dell’animazione, stavolta col supporto di giovani animatori di CGI. Con un approccio intimo e delicato, questo documentario ritrae lo Studio Ghibli e Miyazaki all’età di 70 anni, nel tentativo di ritornare alla ribalta ancora una volta.
