TRAMA
Alva Starr è la ragazza più corteggiata di Dodson, nel Mississipi, dove gestisce, con la madre, una pensione per ferrovieri. Una sera nella cittadina giunge Owen, funzionario delle ferrovie incaricato di licenziare numerosi dipendenti.
