Kuromukuro è una serie televisiva anime ideata per celebrare il quindicesimo anniversario dello studio d'animazione P.A.Works. Andata in onda in Giappone dal 7 aprile al 29 settembre 2016, è stata trasmessa in streaming da Netflix in varie lingue tra cui l'italiano prima sottotitolata e poi doppiata.
2016 – Gole di Tateyama, Kurobe, grazie alle ricerche condotte su di un misterioso artefatto, il Kuromukuro, scoperto accidentalmente durante gli scavi di costruzione della diga, l’ingegneria robotica ha fatto enormi progressi… Intanto Kennosuke Tokisada Oma, un antico samurai, si risveglia ai giorni nostri ed incontra Yukina Shirahane, la figlia del capo-laboratorio delle Nazioni Unite.
