La Consec, una multinazionale del settore armamenti, è messa in pericolo da una misteriosa organizzazione formata da Scanners, individui capaci di uccidere facendo esplodere telepaticamente la testa degli avversari. Con doppi giochi e colpi di scena si arriva allo scontro finale tra due "campioni" di tale tecnica omicida, che scoprono di essere ambedue figli del dottore che ha "creato" gli Scanners.
